In early May 2005, I received the Canon 100-400L lens and decided to take it out and test it. It wasn't a beautiful day, but I managed to find a few things to take pictures of anyway. When you are viewing an individual shot, clicking on the picture itself gives the actual resolution of the camera (no resizing), so you can look at things up close and personal to see what you think. There were three pictures that I rotated slightly: The one with the fountain in the foreground and Beckman in the background, the one with the fountain splashing water, and the one of students walking down the street. These 3 images received an unsharp mask in Photoshop of 120% with a radius of 1.2. The remainder of the shots received Capture One's soft look sharpening method with amount: 126, threshold:3.
