It's a strange thing being at a midwest resort. They have snow... where they put snow.
You can get a small sense of feel for the steepness by looking at the snow blowing fans at the edges of the trail. They look like light poles with a big cylinder on the top of them. Each of those is probably 20-25 feet high. Noticing how quickly the hill rises above them can give a feel for the height.
