  Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Eureka, Missouri This shot was from the edge of the parking lot. The operating chair lift for this side of the hill was behind the conifer in the middle of the shot. You can also see one of the golf course greens in the foreground. The area apparently serves as a golf course in the summer. It seems exceedingly steep for a golf course, though.  Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Eureka, Missouri Snowboarder in thought. It's a strange thing being at a midwest resort. They have snow... where they put snow. You can get a small sense of feel for the steepness by looking at the snow blowing fans at the edges of the trail. They look like light poles with a big cylinder on the top of them. Each of those is probably 20-25 feet high. Noticing how quickly the hill rises above them can give a feel for the height.   Hidden Valley Ski Resort, Eureka, Missouri Looking up the hill.
